Is Your Bike Causing You Pain?
Get Back to Pedaling with a Comprehensive Cycling Analysis by the Experts at The Sports Medicine Clinic

When you choose The Sports Medicine Clinic for your cycling analysis, you’re selecting a team of experts, including physical therapists with advanced training and a cyclist with 26 years of professional experience. You will also have access to the knowledge and expertise of the area’s leading sports medicine and orthopaedic physicians. Our application of physics, neurophysiology, biomechanics assessment and education provide a cycling analysis that will help you achieve peddling force and maintain correct balance and postural alignment.

Complete Examination
Our cycling analysis begins with a full examination. First, we want to listen to your concerns and understand the problems from your perspective. Next, using your own bike and cycling gear, your current fit and posture on your bike will be evaluated in several cycling conditions. Then, we will make adjustments to the cleats, saddle, handlebars, brake levers and stem of your bike, placing them in specific positions which have proven to enhance efficiency and reduce physical strain and stress to the body.

Comprehensive Analysis and Expert Care
After a complete examination and a series of adjustments, our team will work with you to create a therapeutic plan to address any muscular imbalances and postural abnormalities as well as improve flexibility and balance. We will be able to suggest appropriate cycling apparel and equipment to increase your efficiency and reduce stress to your body. You will receive written documentation of your bike measurements before and after the analysis. We can provide progressive analysis and adjustments of position for both competitive and recreational cyclists.

Versatile Application
Whether you participate in long time trials like the Iron Man, short time trials such as track pursuit, or prefer a local ten mile bike trail, our team can help you achieve your optimum cycling position and ease your aches and pains.
