
Physicians: Mitchel D. Storey, D.O.
Dr. Storey earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA, followed by a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Sports Medicine Clinic in Seattle. Dr. Storey is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Osteopathic Medicine with a subspecialty CAQ in sports medicine. He is a founding member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, past president of the American Osteopathic Association of Sports Medicine, and a member of the Professional Baseball Team Physicians Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the Washington State Medical Association and the King County Medical Society.
Dr. Storey’s special interests are non-surgical treatment of sports injuries and throwing injuries. He has been the team physician for the Seattle Mariners and Bishop Blanchet High School for over 25 years, an event physician for the Seafair Unlimited Hydroplane races and a consulting physician for the Unlimited Hydroplane Racing Commission and Seattle Pacific University. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Storey enjoys golf, snow shoeing, fishing, hunting, and swimming.
