Physicians: Edward G. Blahous, Jr., D.P.M.
Dr. Blahous is a board-certified podiatric surgeon. He earned his medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA, completed his residency in podiatry/podiatric surgery at Waldo General Hospital in Seattle, and took a fellowship in sports medicine at Virginia Mason in Seattle. Dr. Blahous is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is chairman of the board of the North Seattle Surgery Center, and a member of the residency training committee and the Northwest Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Swedish/Providence Medical Center.
Dr. Blahous’ special interests include surgical podiatry and sports medicine, orthotics/biomechanics, reconstructive foot surgery and gait analysis. He is a consulting physician for Seattle Pacific University athletics and a podiatric consultant for the Seattle Mariners. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Blahous enjoys all team sports – especially soccer and baseball, as well as fishing, boating, camping and family activities.
