Cancer Care

At Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, we use a multidisciplinary team approach to provide the best possible cancer care for our patients and their families. Our innovative, comprehensive cancer program combines the knowledge and skills of a full range of expert medical specialists. This is why the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer has accredited the Northwest Hospital cancer treatment program six times.

The Northwest Hospital Cancer Committee plays a key role in ensuring the quality of care and the breadth of services in our cancer program. The committee is made up of physicians, surgeons and other health professionals, who monitor clinical care and support services for our cancer patients. The goal of the committee is ongoing quality improvement in all aspects of cancer education, research, diagnosis, treatment, support services and prevention.
