Dr. Christian M. Peterson is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. He earned his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO and completed his residency at Ohio University/Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH. He also completed fellowships in spine surgery at Ohio University and in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Institute for Bone and Joint Disorders in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Peterson belongs to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Association of Sports Medicine, the Association of Professional Team Physicians, the Washington Osteopathic Medical Association, the Washington State Medical Association and the Washington State Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Petersons special interests include advanced arthroscopic procedures and sports medicine. He has been the assistant orthopaedic physician for the Seattle Mariners and a physician for the Unlimited Racing Commission. He is currently a team physician for Bishop Blanchet High School and Bellevue Community College, and a consulting physician for Seattle Pacific University. Outside of his medical practice he enjoys family activities, skiing, biking and water sports.
